Marriott stays can close the Points gap
40 Points per qualifying stay · up to 120 per yearLinked Marriott Bonvoy and Miles & More accounts can earn status Points on qualifying stays, alongside the selected Marriott earning preference.
Conditions +
- Accounts must be linked and names must match.
- The stay must use a qualifying rate and participating brand.
- These are Points, not Qualifying Points; allow 6–8 weeks after checkout.
Exchange spare eVouchers for status credit
1 eVoucher = 50 Points + 50 QP + 50 HON PointsA valid eVoucher can be exchanged in Status management instead of being used for an upgrade. The status planner can apply this credit before it prices flights.
Conditions +
- Up to four eVouchers per transaction; the programme states no annual transaction limit.
- Credit normally arrives within 24 hours and is not transferable.
- Using the voucher for status gives up its potential upgrade value.
Carry surplus Points into next year
1 eVoucher carries 100 Points + 100 QPSenators and HON Circle Members can move qualifying surplus earned after requalification into the next calendar year; HON members can also move HON Circle Points.
Conditions +
- Only points earned after status renewal can be carried.
- The member must hold Senator or HON status when claiming.
- The points are deducted now and credited at the start of January.
Green Fares accelerate every status metric
+20% in Europe/North Africa · +10% intercontinentalEligible Lufthansa Group Green Fares add miles, Points, Qualifying Points and, where normally earned, HON Circle Points.
Conditions +
- Availability depends on airline, market and booking channel.
- HON Circle Points still require eligible Business or First travel.
- Rail products and several excluded markets do not receive the bonus.
Milestones unlock another status shortcut
700 QP: eVoucher · 800 QP: miles exchangeFrequent Travellers receive an eVoucher at 700 QP. At 800 QP they can exchange up to 20,000 award miles for up to 125 Points and 125 Qualifying Points toward Senator.
Conditions +
- The mileage exchange is an Extra Benefit for the member’s current status.
- The planner only applies the full exchange after the 800-QP gate is met.
- Award miles spent here cannot later be used for flights.
Every flown boarding pass may have a second life
Trading-card collections unlock variable rewardsUptrip, operated by Miles & More, turns eligible flown boarding passes into cards and collections. Rewards shown by Uptrip include travel benefits and Miles & More rewards, but inventory and terms can change.
Conditions +
- Upload only a boarding pass for a flight personally taken.
- A Miles & More account is required for programme-linked rewards.
- Do not count a reward in a status plan until it is visible and redeemable in the app.
Track the lifetime counter too
30,000 QP: FTL Lifetime · 40,000 QP: Senator LifetimeQualifying Points accumulate toward lifetime recognition even though the normal annual status counters reset each calendar year.
Conditions +
- Only Qualifying Points count toward the published lifetime thresholds.
- Exchanged eVoucher QP count; carried QP move between years rather than being duplicated.
