What goes into a MilesVector result
An entered quote, a published rule and a provider estimate answer different questions. Here is how we keep them separate.

Award value from your quote
Value per point = (comparable cash ticket − award cash charges) ÷ award points. Multiply by 100 for euro cents. Quotes must cover the same trip and whole party, with both cash amounts in euros. Missing fees remain unknown; zero is accepted only when you enter it. A balance is optional in the quick calculator: without it, funding is not confirmed.
Economic cost = award cash charges + points × your chosen euro value per point. The calculators start at an editable 1.2-cent assumption; the full balance planner uses your saved personal value when available. This is not a market valuation or a cash-sale price. The simple comparison excludes rewards earned by a paid fare, the cost of acquiring missing points and differences in fare conditions. You need to consider these separately.
Programme rules and status gaps
Our rule providers use dated source documents and validated calculation models. Programme pages link to official material and show rule-pack verification dates. A separately dated editorial answer does not certify that an entire rule pack has been reviewed again. Status gaps use the primary tier requirements and the account counters you enter. Unknown progress is not zero. Alternative qualification, renewal, promotions and account-specific conditions may differ.
Exact route earning is calculated only where the model's required carrier, booking class, distance or eligible-spend inputs are available. A cabin name or tax-inclusive price is not substituted for a missing input. The full optimizer and programme guidance state what remains to be checked.
Cash prices, award references and availability
Duffel provides cash-flight prices and itinerary data for searches you request. The banner and results label synthetic test inventory when that is configured. Such schedules and prices cannot be booked or used as real travel quotes. Live prices can change too.
A chart-derived award price, starting price or estimated mileage reference does not confirm available reward seats. An optional configured award-data provider can supply a route/date anchor; coverage and freshness are separate from airline availability. The final programme quote, taxes, seats and eligibility must be confirmed independently.
Programme recommendations
A search recommendation scores strategic fit using route hubs, relevant airlines, your goal and an existing balance where supplied. It does not promise the highest redemption value or account for every promotion, transfer partner, credit card or personal benefit. Inspect its reasons rather than treating a winning label as a guarantee.

Quick quote calculations run on your device and do not require saving a wallet. Search requests send the inputs needed for the comparison.
